The adventure has come to an end…

This was a really hard decision for me. I have decided to pull the plug on my blog.
Most of you readers will probably be disappointed in me because of this, but I have to do what is best for me.

Lately, my life is interfering with this lovely hobby, which is blogging.
My mission of Spadow’s Blog was to give everyone rich news about the latest content in the Korean version of MapleStory.
In the beginning my entries were sloppy and not that great, but I have grown in time and become better in it.
It’s quality over quantity what I was aiming for.
For me, creating an informational post with translated info, images & videos from my own and other sources is not easy.
Most of the posts required a lot of hours. Though, it was hard but my blog proved to be a success.

A lot of events have occurred in my personal life, so I really need a break from blogging.
Blogging on the internet is really a passion that I love to do. Did you know that I didn’t like it at first?
I, really am thankful to all my (loyal) readers who visited my blog over the past 2 years and 10 months.
All your comments have been read by me and I’m sorry I could not answer on all your comments.

These days, I don’t spend a lot of time in MapleStory, but I will definitely keep playing, though not much as I used to.
I intend to keep going with uploading videos on my YouTube account and I stay semi-active on Twitter.

Today is a really sad day for me and I wished it would never come, but now I suddenly have to leave you.
I will not delete this blog because I put a lot of effort in everything.
Visitor, it was an honour knowing you. Again thank you very much for sticking with me till the end.

What the doctor told me

Yesterday I went to the doctor.
Because I didn’t know what was wrong with me.
After waiting for half an hour, I entered his office.

I told him what the hell happened to me.
He checked my mouth, ears, eyes, back and chest.
He asked me to inhale while he had this cold thing on my chest. I already knew what was gonna happen if I inhale too much, I will cough.

After we were done with the check-up, he sat back on his chair and looked on his computer. A few seconds later he told me that I have pneumonia. T.T
This explains the severe coughing that I get every day…

I have my medication for the pneumonia and for the coughing and I am already feeling a little bit better now with the medications kicking in. ^^

I don’t think I will cover the new Tespia patch (1.2.345). I’ve read the patch note and it’s only about Halloween Mansion + events and bugfixes.
The patch is small and I think KMS will get the Halloween Mansion next week.

I hope I won’t get sick like this in December…

I’ve got the flu

Hi all,

Last Sunday, I was dizzy all day so I decided to take a nap for 4 hours. After I woke up, I had this huge headache.
It was really painful. Now my life is getting worse because I’ve got the flu now, a severe headache every day and I’m tired every day.

Why did this happen to me?!
I’m going to do nothing this week except for resting. My body hurt so bad.. I really should pay a visit to the doctor.
I really hope I get better soon because the pain is unbearable. >_<

Wow~ Nexon has not released a single test server patch.. The last update was on the 16th of September, so it’s been a month.
What will the next patch contain? I think Halloween events.

I’m off to bed. -_-

Midnight ban imposed on online games

In South Korea you can find a lot of gamers. Many of them have an addiction where they play for days without getting the normal amount of water, food and sleep.

I think many of you heard this on the news recently, the case of parents who let their actual infant starve while they took care of a virtual baby in an MMO.
Quite shocking.

To prevent this, the South Korean government is going to implement a sort of shutdown system/curfew in a few selected online games.

This includes popular games such as MapleStory, Dragon Nest and many more.
Atleast Dragon Nest has a fatigue system.
But games like LineAge, World of Warcraft and Starcraft will probably not be affected by this new policy.

This policy applies to underaged players. In Korea, you are considered an adult when you are nineteen years old.
