What’s next for Nexon?
Later this month, the upcoming Gstar 2009 game convention event will feature new Korean games.
The Gstar 2009 will be held at BEXCO in Busan and will last four days from November 26th to November 29th.
Companies like NHN, Nexon, Neowiz Games will attend this expo. Blizzard will be joining for the first time this year.
Since I only care about Nexon games, I will only publish information about Nexon.
So, during this convention, Nexon will unveil a new game. Nothing is known yet about this game, so we don’t know until November 26th.
Last year at Gstar 2008, Nexon unveiled Kavatina Story. What is next?
Nexon is probably going to present new games such as Dragon Nest, Everplanet and maybe Mabinogi: Heroes. All three are currently in closed beta and seem to be good quality games.
As for MapleStory, it is like I predicted, a major update is coming soon.
MapleStory receives big updates every five or six months. After getting some lousy content, I think we will see something big coming during winter break.
Today an article was released on several media websites about Nexon & Gstar 2009.
It seems that Nexon is going to prepare another new job.
A fourth new job will be revealed in December, following Pirate, Knights of Cygnus and Aran.
I guess this new job will be released in the test server in December. It took Knights of Cygnus and Aran a few months until their debut in the official server.
Who knows? Maybe Nexon will show more… Like MapleStory DS.
In about 2 weeks, more information will be available. ^^

I think you no longer need 2 people in a party to enter Neo City, but you have to create a party with only you in it and you need the pocket watch available to enter your destination.
They haven’t removed the requirement for Neo City, but if you give Andy, the Time Traveler any monster eraser, he will give you a pocket watch that you can use over and over again, basically giving you free access to Neo City for a limited time. Sounds pretty good, right?
I finished every quest and visited all the areas, I made a few videos of the bosses I came across, but I will blog about that later.
Another reason to dislike Neo City…
So a lot of people dislike Neo City because of a big change.. but there’s another catch.
You already know that you need a party with at least 2 members to enter the Time Gate. But there is another requirement to enter your destination in Neo City.
You will need a special ETC item…
KMST V262 ~ Neo City
Neo City is finally released and as expected, Nexon Korea nerfed the monsters, no surprise though, didn’t we all had an idea that Nexon was gonna nerf the monsters?
I’m really disappointed… Well, Neo City might not be useless since the theme dungeon is accessible for players above Lv. 70.
KMST: Tera Forest (Neo City)
Kerning Square is not the only thing that was spotted when the patch was released, it seems there will be another theme dungeon: Tera Forest (Neo City).
You can access Tera Forest through a portal in Leafre: Minar Forest : East Border.
KMST V261 ~ Kerning Square
A new theme dungeon has arrived: Kerning Square.
This new dungeon is accessible for player who are between Lv. 15 and 50.
It’s a surprise that Nexon Korea shows content of Taipei 101. They actually took backgrounds, objects, NPCs and monsters from Taipei 101 and renamed it to Kerning Square and made it a Lv. 15~30 dungeon…
Neo Tokyo data was found as well, but some clues about this area were spotted.
The Neo Tokyo version of KMS is called Tera Forest (Neo City) with small changes.
The portal is accessible through Leafre, but you cannot go any further than the Tera Forest map.

This is great! My blog loads faster and it’s much easier to view images and read.
