KMST V278 ~ Balance Patch part three

The preview of the return of the Adventurer gave us a hint that the balance was not done yet.
The third and probably the last balance patch has arrived.

The balance patch is scheduled for KMS on the 7th of January.

MapleStory client Ver. 1.2.278 has been released.

이번 패치에서는 다음과 같은 사항이 수정, 추가되었습니다.
In this patch the following issues were changed.

<게임 관련>
<Game related>

1.     아크메이지의 스킬이 변경되었습니다.
1.     Arch Mage skills has been changed.

  • 파이어 데몬의 데미지가 상향되었습니다.
  • Damage of Fire Demon has been increased.
    ┕ Basic attack increased from 120 → 140 (Lv. 30)

  • 아이스 데몬의 데미지가 상향되었습니다.
  • Damage of Ice Demon has been increased.
    ┕ Basic attack increased from 100 → 120 (Lv. 30)

  • 페럴라이즈의 데미지가 상향되었습니다.
  • Damage of Paralyze has been increased.
    ┕ Basic attack increased from 210 → 240 (Lv. 30)

  • 체인라이트닝의 데미지가 상향되었습니다.
  • Damage of Chain Lightning has been increased.
    ┕ Basic attack increased from 180 → 210 (Lv. 30)

  • 메테오의 데미지가 상향되었습니다.
  • Damage of Meteo has been increased.
    ┕ Basic attack increased from 570 → 620 (Lv. 30)

  • 블리자드의 데미지가 상향되었습니다.
  • Damage of Blizzard has been increased.
    ┕ Basic attack increased from 570 → 600 (Lv. 30)

2.     발키리의 스킬이 변경되었습니다.
2.     Valkyrie skills has been changed.

  • 파이어 버너, 쿨링 이펙트의 스킬 데미지가 적용되지 않던 문제를 수정하였습니다.
  • The problem with Fire Burner and Cooling Effect applying no skill damage has been fixed.

3.     버커니어의 스킬이 변경되었습니다.
3.     Buccaneer skill has been changed.

  • 에너지 버스터의 공격 범위가 상향되었습니다. 그리고, 일정 확률로 적을 스턴에 빠드리는 효과가 추가되어 스턴마스터리와의 연계 효율이 높아졌습니다.
  • Attack range of Energy Buster has been increased. And there is a certain possibility that enemies can be stunned and can be used with Stun Mastery.
    ┕ Able to stun with a probability of 40% for 8 seconds

4.     바이퍼의 스킬이 변경되었습니다.
4.     Viper skill has been changed.

  • 드래곤 스트라이크의 공격 시간이 짧아졌습니다.
  • Attack time (delay) of Dragon Strike has been decreased.

5.     헌터의 스킬이 변경되었습니다.
5.     Hunter skill has been changed.

  • 에로우 봄의 데미지가 상향되었습니다.
  • Damage of Arrow Bomb has been increased.
    ┕ Damage increased from 130% → 150% (Lv. 30)

6.     레인져의 스킬이 변경되었습니다.
6.     Ranger skill has been changed.

  • 파이어 샷의 데미지가 상향 되었으며, 최대 7초간 화염 지속 데미지를 주도록 변경되었습니다.
  • Damage of Fire Shot has been increased, and it can now inflict 7 seconds of continuous fire damage.
    ┕ Damage increased from 150% → 160% (Lv. 30)

7.     사수의 스킬이 변경되었습니다.
7.     Crossbowmen skill has been changed.

  • 아이언 에로우의 데미지가 상향 되었습니다.
  • Damage of Iron Arrow has been increased.
    ┕ Damage increased from 180% → 200% (Lv. 30)

8.     저격수의 스킬이 변경 되었습니다.
8.     Sniper skill has been changed.

  • 스트레이프가 일정 확률로 결빙 상태의 적을 즉사 시킬 수 있도록 수정되어, 아이스 샷 등과의 연계 효과가 상향 되었습니다.
  • With a certain percentage, Strafe can kill enemies instantly when enemies are frozen from Ice Shot.
    ┕ Able to kill frozen enemies instantly with a probability of 3% (Lv. 30)

9.     신궁의 스킬이 변경 되었습니다.
9.     Crossbow Master skills have been changed.

  • 피어싱의 차지 속도가 짧아졌습니다.
  • Piercing charging time has been reduced

  • 스나이핑의 재사용 시간이 짧아졌습니다.
  • Re-use time for Sniping has been reduced.

10.   시간의 신전 지역 등장 몬스터들의 엘리멘탈 속성이 변경 되었습니다.
10.   Elemental attributes of several monsters from the Temple of Time were changed.

    I read the extractions but I’m still waiting to see what you put. Usually theres information different from each other ;o

    Read the extraction. All rebalances to buccs so far:

    Marauder:
    – Energy Charge – “Stance” effect increased to 90% from 50%.
    – Energy Blast – Now stuns with 40% probability for 8 seconds. Range increased from 100% to 110%
    Buccaneer:
    – Barrage – Range is increased by 40% (120 from 85)
    – Dragon Strike – Delays reduced by about 30%.

    Blast is a stun, and DrS gets delay reduced by almost 1/3. Win.

    Still no changes for hero’s aside from the warrior wide change to rush..?
    Maybe in KMS it isnt necessary because rage and enrage actually mean something but in GMS there are changes required.

    Well, seems that the Regret and Oblivion zones are a little more balanced for the two Archmages in terms of Elemental Advantage.

    Seems that lots of people are going to be very happy when this is brought over to MSEA. :p

    Is this the only updates for Archers? Even so i’m really happy with the reduced charge time for Pierce. And for the re-use of Snipe is that at lower levels or when it’s maxed?

    but does the probability to kill only work with ice shot? what about frostprey the ice eagle summon thingy)?

    I feel that Nexon purposely avoided making Guardian Captain of Oblivion weak to ice so that Arans won’t rape that place -_-

    Well… What a lovely patch… Clerics and Priests are left in the mud… The hardest jobs to level are two of the few not balanced… Gogogo, I’m loving it! ¬¬

    I play kms and i think the balance is good for magicians but not for fighter-crusader-hero. Now Paladin will take everything from us!
