Patch date confirmed! The balance patch release date is set for 7th January 2010. Experience a stronger Adventurer!
This is fast! A preview was put on the website of MapleStory.
I looked at the preview and I noticed that not all the skills were there…
So I read what it says in the image above:
”PS: Don’t be disappointed if you don’t see a change of your job. The transformation of the Adventurer continues!”
I’m guessing this is just preview #1.

Wow, I hope they extend that balance patch date, or make more patches. Because rushing through like this won’t be that great. Maybe they just want the legends earlier?

There’s still going to be more updates. This is probably just one product testing phase with the real server.
where is the *hero* of all maple X.x
That’s good, shadowers are far from balanced.
It’d be awesome if they update the bow/xbow jobs for survival/movements improvements. The low survivability in bow/xbow jobs is a bit overrated as far as I can tell.
-Maybe a longer-lasting puppy
-Or at least a decent jump dose in thrust skill

I’ve seen that guy that represents pirates all the time, but there’s one question I have to ask: Does the armor he wears even exist in game? x-x Everyone else has something in game at least SIMILAR
My guess is no. Same situation with the Archer representative (the one with the odd swirly goggles). The goggles and the awesome-looking golden winged bow does not exist either (which saddens me greatly, that’s probably one of the best looking bows I’ve ever seen in any game).
Look at the Bandit representative in the pictures above. Her Purple Osfa Hat is fused with some Cash Shop visor and her top is a Purple Osfa Suit(F) worn over a Red Moon. Her gloves are found nowhere in the game; the Mystra (Lv90 thief glove) doesn’t have the belts that the rest of the Lv90 set do.
We should go tell nexon/whoever owns them to either make the classwear look more accurate or to change the looks of these characters to the clothes you can get in game! xP
The eagle bow could possibly be a white nisrok (however you spell it)
When did adventurers ever leave? Lol.
they left being the most used classes in the game, the legends are taking over and less adventurers are being made, this is their return to popularity
I don’t think this will be enough, even if there are more balance patches. I’m having way more fun on an Aran than I ever did with a bowman. (Maybe that applies to all melee classes. I wouldn’t know, I never had any other melee class in second job, but Aran definitely was more fun than Cygnus and a swordsman.)
Jan 7 for Korea, so in bout a year for GMS?
Skill updates come faster than normal. It was 3 months for the last update.

wth They took out the boost for rapid fire and battleship armor from the update?

This is Part One of the balance patch release in the actual KMS servers. The others will be patched in in the next patch, don’t worry.

wow. But theres no archer (under the Happy New Year~ ━★ thing). Theres only magician, theif, pirate and warrior. they forgot to add? *my eyes arent good at searching so if u happen to see it pls tell me. oh and, the last picture yes i did see the archer… i meant the one above the last pic*
Nexon did not include archers in this round of balancing. Perhaps they will do so in the next.
