KMST: Tera Forest (Neo City)

Kerning Square is not the only thing that was spotted when the patch was released, it seems there will be another theme dungeon: Tera Forest (Neo City).

You can access Tera Forest through a portal in Leafre: Minar Forest : East Border.

At the moment, you cannot see the new change in the World Map in-game, but it exists in the data.

Old:

New:

A big tree in Tera Forest.. They basically took Kamuna (Neo Tokyo) and renamed it to Tera Forest.

Unfortunately, you cannot enter both portals. For now Tera Forest is unfinished…
My guess is that Kerning Square will be released in the November patch and Tera Forest in the December patch.
Time is ticking, time is ticking away~!

If its the same quests and the same map just a different way to get there I will be ok with it. ._.

  2. Anubis says:

Man… Why are they doing that? I mean, why they took away the world tour area? To add this and that other place in kerning? C’mon, they nerfed everything, and Neo Tokyo will be nerfed too! Let’s fight against mobs lvl 70 -.-

  3. Terry says:

I dont think Neo Tokyo will be nerfed. Seeing as the portal is in Leafre which is the highest level map in KMS besides Time Temple, and putting a neo tokyo portal in TT will be just ridiculous. I think that was intended to make a statement that the area your about to enter will be badass. Just my two cents. And I’m really hoping that its a MAP not another PQ area :P

  4. Angel Tears says:

This really doesnt make any sense. Seriously, KMS, stop ripping of all the World Tour area’s.

Besides, Theme dungeons with a level cap is allready a bad idea…

  5. aslemn says:

Okay, this was the most ridiculous thing KMS made so far.

  6. Taka says:

KMS will probably take the exclusive Malaysia maps from MSEA and remake it into a dungeon theme with a level limit, and then rename it into some ridiculous name God knows what.

At the same time,MSEA players will flare at KMS for doing that.

  7. Ghost says:

I doubt it’s gonna be like Neo Tokyo, they probly just used the Kumama Map as a filler, but then again. It’s rare to see even a preview of something in KMST…
Also, can you translate that song?

  8. MRMAGICAL says:

    Look
Kerning Square=Rip off of Taipei 101
Tera Forest=Rip off of Kamuna and possibly Neo Tokyo

    just plain n simple

  9. Pantaloon says:

Maybe if you guys stop complaining about KMS taking other areas and nerfing them, this wouldn’t seem so bad.

All the other versions obviously take stuff from KMS, so why can’t KMS take stuff off of them?

You make a good point there. It’s already evident for the fact that many versions of Maplestory are copying one another’s maplestory content, even version-exclusive content. The only thing different is the different Maplestory versions are made for people to play in different parts of the world.

    Off topic:
Flame wars over exclusive game content of different MS versions will be evident if the different versions of MS[Mostly GMS and MSEA]keep taking each other’s exclusive game content.[Exclusive or not,you decide]

Different versions of MS take the whole game of MS and make it the MS for that certain part of the world and update it with new game content from KMS gradually.

KMS takes certain[Exclusive and non-exclusive] game content from different versions of MS.Flame wars about game content from different versions of MS[Mostly GMS and MSEA] will start, not realizing that they’re taking the latest game contents from KMS and patching it into the game gradually after a certain period of time.

What I said up there might be vague, correct me if necessary.
