The new area that was introduced to Tespia yesterday is a party quest (Resurrection of the Hob King) for Lv. 75 and higher.
Today a bugfix patch was released and there were some small changes.
Lex drops three earrings, you probably saw the stats in the KMST V300 blog entry. In this patch something new was added to these earrings. I think this new thing will make these earrings a very wanted item.
Durability was added and +% HP! The latter is something new. When I logged on Tespia I noticed my HP was higher than before.
My HP without this earring is 4345.

4779,5 HP → 4779 HP +_+ That’s nice.
▲ This is Lex. His HP got increased from 800,000 to a whopping 2,500,000!
I guess they realized that Lex was a bit too easy, eh?
The login window was changed again. The login button is smaller and they added ”메이플스토리 MapleStory’ logo.
I think this was a good idea, because it was bit a empty without the logo.
I hope this is not the only thing that KMS is getting soon. ~_~

Spadow, do you guys have chaos scrolls in KMS? It’d be great to see if these earrings could be scrolled for a larger percentage increase.
And just like that, all of those super scrolled 10+ stat earrings plummet in price.
So looking forward to grabbing one of these things.

You can repair items with durability.
When an item hits 0 durability, does it just become unequipable until repaired, or does it blow up?
It becomes unequipable until you repair it in Leafre.

Besides the chaos scrolling question, can you confirm that this increases total HP, not base HP. (i.e. before/after wearing HP gear and/or Hyperbody)

So it took your party 30 seconds to fight 800k hp,

Sort of. We were with only three. You can create a party with up to six members. Lex is not hard when the average level of your party is +160.
Do you know the levels that are allowed to Pq once it’s finished testing? I can’t imagine lvl 16x+ doing this
How long does it take a durability item to go from 100 -> 0% in a training session?
I don’t know. I haven’t gotten the chance to train yet.
By the way, the durability on these earrings are 30,000.
I would appreciate it if you could test that when you get a chance.

Awesome updates to this mini-PQ. I hope it stays 75+ so I can get a shot at the earrings some day though I’d imagine it making more sense at a level cap. But really, there’s gotta be more than this to expect. Or so I should hope.

Hey I know this is off this topic but what will be a better idea for a DualBlade Dexless LowDex or RegDex?
Reg dex or low dex. There are no dexless blades and (I think) their attacks use DEX and LUK.
Those earrings are amazing! +10% HP and cool class stats? Very useful for archers and night lords without needing to HP wash. +10% HP is stackable with Hyper Body.

but eventhough the earring is nice , The “Big” Patch that nexon promised doesnt furfill though , dont tell me that the definations for “Big” for nexon is changing a new login page and add a new pq and a cool stat earring ?
This can’t possibly be their idea of big… this is smaller than the usual “Small” patches that we normally get by far. I think Nexon is just skipping Tespia on this big new update and is gonna release it straight into the main server.
It’s even more likely that they decided to push the ‘big’ patch into April, in which I think is the month of the KMS Anniversary.

While Evan himself is not one of the heroes that fought the Black Mage personally, he is part of an ancient line of dragon masters that was nearly wiped out by the Black Mage when he fought the legendary heroes.

No, Evan is the Mage Hero/Legend class.
Evan isn’t the Mage Hero that fought the Black Mage, but the successor of the previous one, Afrien, who was killed hiding Mir’s egg from the Black Mage.

GMS doesn’t get a ‘Big Patch’ on the scale they were talking about for KMS.
We get Evan, sure, but the big patch for KMS was a lot bigger than a new job.
