MapleStory DS is coming to Korea on April 15th, 2010

New information has been released from Nexon about MapleStory DS.
In 2009 I reported that MapleStory DS would be released in January 2010, but now their decision is final.
The game is scheduled to launch in Korea on April 15, 2010.
MapleStory DS is a DS adaption of the popular online game MapleStory.
The game is developed by Nexon in cooperation with Nintendo.
This handheld version will feature the four original jobs: a Warrior, Thief, Archer and Magician.
Each character will have their own storyline.
MapleStory DS is not an online game, but it sort of connects with it, by including codes for exclusive virtual items.
The estimated price for MapleStory DS will be around $35.
A special edition bundle with a Nintendo DSi & MapleStory DS will be available for around $205.
There is currently no release date known for America or Europe.

i think the fun of maplestory is that its online…. so i wouldnt play it xD

I think it is not meant to be online…I read wikipedia many months back,but they said that the game does not support multiplayer gameplay.
yay,i first bough my DSI for pokemon heart gold and now i can finally add maplestory to my collection.but i think,it will take nearly a year to translate it from korean to english lol.and then another year to export the game overseas =x

What if they have like downloadable features? just like warioware D.I.Y you can download new jobs and maps (until the space of the DS gets full) or if they release some SD card thing like the flashcarts and use that and they can have a website like maplestoryDS.com and show new downloadable stuff ready.

Of course there won’t be: pirates have very low equips to use, Arans use same ones as warriors, evans use same as mage. and combied there skills would waste like half the memory on a single DS card leaving barely enough room for even one character! Which also explains them using only 3/8 or so Main Bosses: Palpatus,Horntail,Zakum(unsure)… Only guessing Zakum since the trailer shows a person similar to Grendel’s apprentice….

This is game is similiar to MS thief Edition for iPhone. It’s very fun but hard to control on the iPhone, so I’ll be purchasing a Nintendo DSi XL Black Edition to try this out. Fingers cross that it’s more better than the iPhone.
To comment on others there’s no new relativities of the any of the new class because they game was meant to be release way back in 2008(I think O.O) before the Pirates, Knight of Cygnus, Aran, Evans and Dual Blader(Blade Master). The delay of MSDS is an unknown mystery to the public. Before commenting or posting stupid replies, do some research in advance.
There is a possibility that there will be a MapleStory DS second addition.
Is this game ever coming to US?
Omg. I wnt this to come out in US. It will probably be end of 2011/begining of 2012 tho. I won’t be ksed any more.
