Two more videos of Dual Blade and this job is limited?

Yesterday Dual Blade was released on the official server. On patch day, Dual Blade was tweaked again.

- Damage of Mirror Imaging  (Shadow Partner) increased from 50% to 60% damage.
- MP consumption of Sudden Raid increased from 470 MP to 980 MP.
- Increased delay of Slash Storm and Bloody Storm.

Before the increased delay of Slash and Bloody Storm, you were practically invisible all the time. But now when you attack with Slash or Bloody Storm, you will get hit by a monster.

When KMS releases a patch, they will post a patch note and a preview.
I looked at the preview of version 1.2.92(Dual Blade) and noticed this image.

MapleStory DS is coming to Korea on April 15th, 2010

New information has been released from Nexon about MapleStory DS.
In 2009 I reported that MapleStory DS would be released in January 2010, but now their decision is final.

The game is scheduled to launch in Korea on April 15, 2010.

MapleStory DS is a DS adaption of the popular online game MapleStory.
The game is developed by Nexon in cooperation with Nintendo.

This handheld version will feature the four original jobs: a Warrior, Thief, Archer and Magician.
Each character will have their own storyline.

MapleStory DS is not an online game, but it sort of connects with it, by including codes for exclusive virtual items.

The estimated price for MapleStory DS will be around $35.
A special edition bundle with a Nintendo DSi  & MapleStory DS will be available for around $205.

There is currently no release date known for America or Europe.

KMST V293-V294 ~ A stronger Dual Blade

I think I should clear up a few things.

Q: Actually the name of the new ‘thief’ is dual blade or dual blader??
A:  The name of the job changes per advancement.

Q: Hey Spadow how does the 1st Job Advancement work? So you make a normal character like normal and work your way through Maple Island like a normal class or what? And is it possible to make your character level 10 now and use it later to Job Adv?
A: You create Dual Blade through the character selection window. You will start on Maple Island and at Lv. 10 you will be a Rogue with a few skills: Nimble Body, Disorder, Dark Sight and Double Stab.
It’s not possible to create a Lv. 10 character and wait till Dual Blade comes out.

Q: What’s the different from 20 & 20+ job?
A: You will get different skills and a new job name.

Q: Hey spadow, whats the real mount of dual blade? Because I’m confused if the real mount of dual blade is that tiger or other mount. Can you please tell me the real mount?
A: In a recent patch,  the ability for Dual Blade to obtain the Monster Riding quest from Kenta has been added. So that means Dual Blade will get the Hog and Silver Mane mounts.

Q: So they wear one dagger and one blade? can they wear 2 blades? or 2 daggers? just asking
A: You cannot wear two blades. Only one dagger and one blade.

In version 1.2.293 and 1.2.294 the skills of the Dual Blade job got buffed.

Two new videos. I don’t plan on making the videos long like I did with the Aran videos, because the size is too big. After all, the quality is splendid.
In the latest test server update, Nexon screwed up with the Slash Storm skill. If you use it too much, you will disconnect and this is a mobbing skill!!

KMST V291 & V292 ~ Dual Blade

Update: version 1.2.292 was released. Mostly bugfixes. They have added HP to the new blades.

Finally. The wait is over. Dual Blade has arrived.

A couple of changes, the required job level for Dual Master has changed from 55 to 50.
Well.. The patch note says so, but it could be a typo.

The skills are complete obviously, but I will post them later. I’m anxious to play Dual Blade!

In Cash Shop a few scroll items appeared. They are for the new job Dual Blade.

These items act like Mastery Books.
They have a 100% chance of working.

You can pay for for this item if you want your desired skill so much or you can just hunt for the regular Mastery Books.

I thought Nexon developed this job not because of the revenue, but for the interest of other people so they can have fun with it.

There is a little story on the website, it says the following:

The previous Dark Lord had a student named Jin and a daughter, Sulhee.
Basically what happened was that the friend of the previous Dark Lord, Tristan, requested help to kill Balrog.

Unfortunately, Dark Lord got turned into a monster by Balrog and his student Jin had to kill Dark Lord because he was attacking Kerning City.
The daughter of the previous Dark Lord, Sulhee, saw the dead body of her father brought by Jin.

She thought that Jin framed him and killed him because of his position. (Although, she loved Jin, but she is stupid and thinks that way)
So Jin became the next Dark Lord and Sulhee created a secret dark organization to go against Jin.

Now the rogues are disappearing from Kerning City by Sulhee’s command to recruit them to Dual Blade to fight against Jin.

Quite a fascinating story.
The Balrog they’re mentioning is the big one that killed Tristan.
