Finally the new Evan job is playable!
After the patch I immediately logged on to check if we get a free character slot.
I found out that.. See for yourself.
The answer? Yes. ^^
With this patch the new character selection UI got improved.
Personally I don’t like it. I liked the previous UI with the short description of the class. Whatever;;
First map you will enter upon creation of your Evan.
I got really lucky. Before Evan was released, the Evan teaser website opened.
There was a special event. If you fed your dragon, the EXP will raise and your dragon will grow.
There were 6 stages (240 EXP). I had more than 700 EXP making my chance to obtain more prizes higher.
It also allowed you to create a HTML code so you could paste it on discussion boards, blogs etc.
So I was in-game and checked the inventory and I was surprised with what I saw.
Five 2x EXP cards (30 min. duration), Lv. 50 Gold Dragon mask and one Wand for M.ATK 60% scroll.
The best thing about the 2x EXP cards is that they don’t expire in a week or so. They expire on February 1st!
Right now I am Lv. 20 and still going~ I like Evan but I don’t know if I will continue it. I’m definitely gonna level it for the new Dragon Glasses.
The event is similar to Lilin’s Ring of Aran.
Lv. 30 : You acquire the Dragon Glasses. (+30 HP, +30 MP)
Lv. 50 : Cassandra gives you AllStat +1 scroll.
Lv. 60 : Cassandra gives you AllStat +1 scroll.
Lv. 80 : Cassandra gives you a scroll. Adds 1 attack and 2 magic attack.
Lv. 100 : Cassandra gives you the last scroll. Adds 1 attack and 2 magic attack.
There is a catch though.. This eye accessory is not account sharable, instead you can only use the Platinum Karma Scissors! -_-

BTW, does anyone have any information on the event on December 26 & January 2?? It’s the one where you log in during 2-3 and get prizes, including up to 100,000 Maple Points and Timeless weapons for all classes…

He started with 3, one for KoC, one for Aran, then one for Evan.

Dude am i the only 1 who thinks that they shouldda just maxed the cap for adventurers to like 250 or just dropped Evan and Aran to like 120 to balances the classes

If you don’t want to spoil anything… Yes, Evan is a legendary hero. Between Evan’s involvement with the Black Wings and the fact that every stat listed in the Evan’s character creation screen above is the same as the Aran, I don’t see how anyone can deny that Evan is one of the legendary heroes.
After listening to people saying that the Evan is one of the Legendary heroes that fought with the Black Magician…Could it be possible that the large dragon which Evan meets in his dreams[Evan tutorial] is actually the former dragon companion of the Legendary Mage hero that fought the Black Magician along side the Aran and other heroes?

So… The big black dragon could be the one that fought the big bad black magician with the most-probably-frozen-by-the-black-magician-hero? But can I say it was also frozen…? I heard that the black dragon turned back into an egg after that.

that beginner suit is so ugly (my opinion)
Oh about the ui, would it be nice if they kept that one up there but still had the description in the top left corners of the characters?

hey, i was wondering if this is possible:
1) create evan
2) level to 100
3) use 2 scrolls (+ 1 atk, + 2 magic atk)
4) transfer it to another evan
5) level to 100 again
6) use the same 2 scrolls again
End Result: (4 atk, 8 m atk, 30 hp, 30mp)
