I’m kinda late with this because this cash item was already released in version 1.2.267.
Anyway, with this cash item, you can make certain items tradeable..

I don’t know which items it can make tradeable but..
It can make medals tradeable…

And.. Mounts & Saddles can be traded as well!..

Besides that, in version 1.2.265 (I know,  an old update…) new strings were found.

MapleStory 2 & Major updates in 2010

Last year, I posted an entry about MapleStory 2 and MapleStory going 3D.
Many people were confused and thought MapleStory 3D was MapleStory 2. Well, here’s an update: it’s not.

MapleStory 2 was brought up and it was said in a press conference (to introduce the new class Evan) that the development team for MapleStory 2 was created last year and has been in development.
That’s all what we get to hear, more details cannot be revealed at the moment.
At least, it is 100% confirmed that the sequel to MapleStory will be released in the future.

In 2010, there will be major updates. For instance, in winter, MapleStory will release a new class + another major update. And the next summer, they are thinking whether they should release a new class or update current ones.

It’s not a surprise that more classes will be created, seeing the two latest (Aran & Evan) belong in the ”hero” category.

Now to something else: Today,  at G-STAR 2009,  players can experience the new class Evan in advance. (Can only access a few maps)
The teaser website opened as well, which shows us that Evan will be released in KMS on December 17, 2009.

December 2007 Pirate: A total of 200,000 simultaneous users was measured.
December 2008 Knights of Cygnus: A total of 250,000 simultaneous users was measured.
July 2009 Aran:  A total of 200,000 simultaneous users was measured.

The class that achieved the highest amount of concurrent users is Knights of Cygnus. Do you think Evan will surpass the 250,000 mark?

It is almost time for some Gstar 2009 action!
Two days left until the convention opens.

More information about Evan, the Dragon Master will be unveiled at Gstar 2009.
Will Nexon show teasers?  Evan’s own teaser website should be:  evan.maplestory.nexon.com (IE6+).

It’s not online at the moment, but I expect it would be up anytime soon.
It is almost December, time to release Evan.

In the beginning,  Evan and the baby dragon knew nothing.
But with the growth of the baby dragon,  Evan’s strength continues to increase endlessly.

KMST V267 ~ Another hero arises, Evan the Dragon Master!

The new job ‘Evan’ has been released. Faster than I expected, now I actually know what I want for Christmas.
Evan will have a similar start as Aran (Black Road), but will not have the exclusive Combo system.
You will start in a house nearby the town Henesys, Evan lives on a farm.

Evan dreams about a dragon egg, later he actually discovers the same egg in his dream, it hatches and the strength and growth of the baby dragon will be stronger.

Evan is a Dragon Master with an (evolving) dragon called Mir by his side, his Dragon can evolve ten times at certain levels which will unlock several new skills as well.

You can place the dragon skills on your hotkeys, if you want to perform a certain skill, your dragon will attack for you.

By the looks of this patch, it seems that this major update will be ready to be released in December.
I can’t wait for Gstar 2009!

KMST V265 ~ New ”Dragon” equipment

A few days ago, I posted something about the Dragon mounts.  Today, MapleStory client version 1.2.265 was released and surprisingly new equipment was added.

So, the new job is coming soon.. What can it possibly be?

There were five heroes who fought against the Black Magician, one hero was Aran.
Four heroes are left.
